Traveling and being outdoors had been something Evan enjoyed years ago. Sure he loved to go fishing, hiking and camping but with all the little ones now it wasn't so easy. It might be a few more years before he really was able to do those things again, at least where he was able to bring his wife and the children along, anyhow. Evan chuckled nodding his head, "Before we moved and I got a job here I owned a shop for all things outdoors. I would take my daughter camping, hiking and things of that nature." Probably why she loved being outside so much now. "You haven't?" This surprised him a bit more then it should have. "It is if the carpet is functioning as it should be. I also tend to place every protection charm known to man on them." When it came to the safety of his family or just children in general he wouldn't mess around.
"She wanted to be a Slytherin. Just most people upon meeting her never seem to believe that she was." Other then her ambition she wasn't the average snake. Evan laughed shrugging his shoulders. "I really don't know. I suppose his attitude towards her changed and they became friends."
