Tristan stepped into the great hall and immediately all the memories of his time here as a student came flooding back to him. it had always been a goal for him to work here one day, and here he was, Care of Magical Creatures Professor at his school! He was beyond excited, slightly nervous, and completely happy to be here.

He made his way to the Staff table, greeting everyone that was seated as he went. "Good evening Laurel, Kalen, Kay, and Ciara! Hope you all are doing well!" He said with a smile and took his seat. His nerves were starting to kick in, but he wouldn't let that show. He was good about hiding his emotions, though sometimes they did get the best of him. But these were good nerves...excited ones. The smile plastered on his face was evidence of that.

Now, where was his best friend?
