Kay was in a good mood and very much ready for the feast as well as the new school year. There was determination about her- determination to make this possibly the best year yet; to have some of the best lessons that she had ever had. The sole thing that put a damper on her spirit was the fact that so many familiar faces had resigned from the staff after the end of last term, Jordan and Justin included. But there were still Cami, Rose and Laurel, her girlfriends.
"Good evening, Laurel, Kalen.'' Kay smiled as she came to a stop at dais. "Kalen, welcome to your first Feast as staff.'' Still smiling, she gracefully took her seat. Her blue eyes wandered towards the four House tables. The students should be arriving soon enough. |
