“My family goes all the way back ten centuries.”
“Yeah? Well my family goes back even farther. Not a Muggle in the bunch.”
Lorelei groaned to herself as she listened to this conversation coming from the Slytherin table in the Great Hall. It seemed as though blood status was the only thing the students there could talk about, which, if one really thought about it, was pretty pathetic. Who really cared, anyway? Purebloods weren't any different from other people. They put their uniforms on the same way I do, she thought again, rolling her eyes and standing up to leave.
