Coin purse in hand, Natalie walked into the supply shop in search of some things she needed for school. Her parents were busy getting her books, so she had to be responsible and get some things for herself too.

There were a lot of things to look at. Useful things, not useful things, other things that she had no idea of their purpose. Natalie wandered slowly, occasionally looking at or picking something up to see what it was, but she eventually moved on. She spotted a boy her age looking around, too. Natalie paused... and then smiled at him.

Hello," she said softly. Because this was a nice place to make friends, wasn't it?
