"Slytherin's live in the dungeons right? Under the lake?" he had heard his dad talk about it. "And the Gryffindor common room? Where is that?" he asked.

Dorian smiled big time after hearing his words when he had told him he was adopted. "Not many people think that way" he said with an annoyed sigh "You know how many times i've heard people ask me things like; "So your real parents don't love you?" Or "So...no one in your family is your real family right? So many times that" he shook his head as if he couldn't get the stupidity that came out of peoples mouths sometimes.

....This...wait....this kid liked Quidditch but didn't have a favorite team?!

The ten year old stared at him as if he were an alien. "That's" he almost did not want to say it but he did so anyways "weird" he finished while still staring at him in disbelieve. "Mine is the Ballycastle Bats!" he said proudly.

"No, i don't have an owl" he looked down at his shoes for a moment before looking back up. "I have a toad though, his name Savien but he sadly can't send letters....hey wait, what's YOUR name even?"

If he had put the kid off on wanting to be a Ravenclaw he hadn't meant to. Even if Slytherin was the best house. Honestly he wasn't even entirely sure if riddles had anything to do with getting into that common room but he thought it was and that's what he had been told soooo...

Koen nodded his head of blonde hair. "Yeah. There's huge windows in the common room that show the lake and sometimes you can see what lives there...if something swims passed the windows of course." His family had told him that, especially Hady who he knew had sat by those windows all the time. "Somewhere on the seventh floor. There's a tower there." In other words, very very far from the dungeons.

Listening to the younger boy he kinda felt bad that he had to go through that and it made him wonder if Hady dealt with those questions too. "I don't think any of that is important. No one knows what happened or why you're adopted." Was that him talking or his parents? It sounded ever like something his mom and dad would say to him.

The look on the other kids face when he said he didn't have a favorite team made him laugh. "Weird maybe but true." He hadn't really cared enough to focus on just one team.

Hmm. That might pose a small problem. "Does your dad have an owl he would let you use? Or would he take you to the post office and let you send letters like that?" Either of those wouldn't be to big a deal really. "I have a snake and a crup...neither of them can send letters either," he grinned. See he didn't have his own owl yet either. "Koen, what's yours?"
