She didn't really know what she was supposed to be feeling.
The eleven year old looked at the area where other kids were waiting to get their wand, the place where Mrs. Stewart was pointing, before looking back at her again. Yes, she realized that she was supposed to call her Professor Stewart, but she kept forgetting and it was hard to get used to anyway. "You aren't coming with me?" Yeah, she knew that it wasn't very far away, but this was all still such a new thing for her. She didn't really want to do it by herself.
That measuring tape... it had been here at Ollivander's for as long as Kay could remember. In secret, she was always amused whenever someone stepped up to the Measuring Area. The tape was something to witness when it was in its element. However, she directed her attention back to Andi and shook her head. "Not this time. The shopkeepers will help you with everything you need.'' Andi got an encouraging smile from her.
The girl might not be excited now but Kay was sure this will change sometime even if not today. "First you need to be measured so go ahead. I'm sure you won't be intimidated by the tape.'' Because from what she had learnt so far about Andi, she was a determined little lady. |
