Moving a few steps further to check out another broom near them, Dorian kept listening as the other kid told him someone called Hady had been a Head Girl while at school "is she your sister?" he asked.

The fact that there were MORE wizarding schools than just Hogwarts was mindblowing to him and he could not believe his dad never gave this piece of information to him but then again, as he thought of how he was feeling right now, it was rather a joy to find things out by himself. He was already learning and he wasn't even at school yet. Just one more year of waiting! "Is it true that there's a big lake around the castle and there's a giant monster living in it who eats the students?"

Ok so perhaps the giant quid wasn't that dangerous but GIANT SQUID!

Koen couldn't be sure how this kid would really know whether or not that other guy was a pain but he would take his word on that one. Even if it weren't the truth it didn't matter to him since he didn't know the other guy anyhow.

The blonde raised an eyebrow. "Ravenclaw, huh? I would never make it in that house...the riddles just to get into the common room would bug me." He was smart yes but not all that good with riddles. Sitting around and reading textbooks wasn't his thing, not unless it involved dragons or music. "My dad was in Slytherin just like the rest of my family. Only my mom was in a different house, Gryffindor."

He laughed shaking his head. "Hady? No, she's my cousin. I do have a baby sister though and a baby brother too. Do you have siblings?" Just a curious question.

Ko was just about to ask the boy why he didn't know anything about the other schools but stopped when he was asked about the lake at Hogwarts. "Oh yeah, Hady says the first years get to ride in boats over the lake when they first arrive. The seventh years get to too but only on the way back to the train when they graduate." The thought of the boats was kind of cool to him but he had already missed out on that by not going to Hogwarts last term. A giant monster? "The Giant Squid? He doesn't eat kids...Hady says she's talked to him a few times and he's actually nice." Cue a shrug of the shoulders.
