Kane's eyes wandered around, looking at all the different magical pet options. Why were spiders even an option? Seriously? Like, who wanted a SPIDER as a pet? How did you even take care of it if it got sick?
His thoughts were abruptly stopped when he heard someone talking to him. He wrinkled his eyebrows and looked nearby to see a young girl, probably a first year by the looks of her, saying hi to him. That was...nice. And random. He chuckled and waved. "Uh, hi to you too!" he said. He wasn't one to be RUDE even if he didn't know the girl.
Oh, and there was Isa! He smiled and waved at her too - the girl seemed to be a friend of hers. Or at least shopping with her. "Hey Isa! I've been good. Went to Cali for a bit...it was nice and relaxing. And no, no way," he chuckled when she asked if he was getting a pet. "I don't trust myself to keep anything alive longer than a day. Just looking for now...maybe someday," he shrugged. "What about you?" he asked.
Now, if ISA got a pet, Kane could play with it and love it and not have any of the responsibility and he'd be totally fine with that!
