Perhaps it was the expression on his face...
"Help yourself to some flowers, but try not to linger." They'd be getting busy, and he could've gotten lost from his parents!
Once Dorian had noticed that the man whom he had seen selling wands was walking his way, he panicked a little bit. What if he wasn't allowed to be here anyways? What if this area was only for paying customers? Was he going to be kicked out now?!
Before he knew it, he heard the man speak to him and he sighed softly. Okay so he wasn't mad but didn't want him to linger either.
"I'm sorry, okay" he muttered, gazing past the man as he saw another eleven year old try a wand.
"Can i try once?" he asked suddenly as his blue eyes looked back up to the owner.
"Just a" he swished his hand as if he was waving a wand like he had seen his father and grandfather do at home.
"I'm almost eleven!" he added hopefully.
"Please?" his father had always said that politeness could take a person far. Speaking of him, Dorian checked his bright orange watch around his wrist. Mweh he was going to be picked up soon, he wanted to stay longer in diagon alley!
