Kane needed another break from shopping. This was like...the tenth one, but he didn't care. He hated shopping and was getting it all done TODAY.
He was very disappointed, however, to find that Diagon Alley did not sell ANYTHING that offered any ounce of protection against portals or monsters. Granted, the whole thing SHOULD be solved right now, since Miffy and Storm went in the portal (Good riddance, really) but still. He would rather be safe than sorry. No getting sucked in to portals for this one!
He paused and sat down on a nearby bench, taking out the latest issue of Marvin the Mad Muggle that he'd purchased along with his books. Magical comics were AWESOME - they moved, which made them a million times better.
