He always thought he was the only one lost but of course, if Carlton didn't know anything about the magic world (he'd even heard he was going to learn to fly on a broom?! In the air?!) then maybe magic kids didn't know anything about the Muggle world?
He grinned. "It's Pac man, dude. This is a classic." He shrugged and moved out of the way. "Try it! It's fun." So fun. And he might have a hidden talent, if so then maybe they could use Carlton's name on the high score... Yes. That would be good.
Pac Man. If the name was supposed to ring a bell, it didn't and if he had to believe this kid it was a classic. Were muggles still playing this game? must be because how else did this kid knew about it right?
"It's Mason, not dude" he said before uncrossing his arms and took a step closer towards the device and looked at all the buttons and whatnot. He had been observing the kid earlier so he pressed the start button with a smug smile on his face. As if he had just found out something undiscoverd.
The game started to play and Mason, having never in his life played these kind of games before was looking at the little ghost like figures, thinking the point of the game was to catch the big yellow thing with his armies. When the little ghost armies went in different directions, the
super smart Ravenclaw lost track of what to do and eventually the
GAME OVER
sign appeared on the screen.
.....
"Well, that wasn't so bad"
More like disastrous.
