"I'm good at teasing and you make it easy," she smiled. What's this about giving her less opportunities to tease her? Cami really wanted to see how that worked out. "The best? Well I try." She winked playfully. "How does the holidays work around her, anyhow? Does most of the staff go home?" A few were married and had families she knew.
Surprise. A deep look of surprise filled Camilla's eyes but it was quickly chased away by a warm smile. "I say we should definitely do that. Maybe make a nice trip out of it or something." This was what she enjoyed. They could go away for a long weekend or something. Do some camping possibly and have a good time. Without answering she passed over the DVD she had chosen. Kay would know it the moment she saw it.
That did it. Kay was certainly determined to not be teased much if at all by Cami. She still smiled sweetly. “We’ll see how this goes. You’ll be wanting the old Kay back so you can keep troubling her.’’ With her soft laugh, she nodded. “Yes, most of them do. I went home both times since I was here, if you remember.’’ And Kay was sure Cami would. They had spent some family time together. “That sounds absoloutely perfect, Cami! I have something to look forward to this summer.’’ Couldn’t summer be now, actually? Kay took the DVD. “Titanic!’’ She loved this movie ever since she was a teen and it happened to be one of her favourites. “I’ll get it set up right now.’’ She did just this, then indicated to one of the comfortable couches in front of the TV. “Ready?’’ When Cami was, Kay hit play.
She hadn’t watched this in a long time! |
