Hearing the knock on her door, she moved towards it, two Stephen King books still in hand.

Kay opened the door and peered out. There was one of the first years sitting on a bean bag and reading a Flash comic. How precious! The Professor didn’t want to disturb her just yet so she retreated back into her office. She set the books down, grabbed a plateful of cookies and two cups of fruit juice.

“Hello, Ms Li. Would you fancy a snack?’’

Totally engrossed in the comic, Ambrose had NOT heard Professor Stewart approach him, flinching in surprise as he was addressed by her. That was quickly replaced by the first year Hufflepuff beaming at the woman in question as soon as he realised it was her and also the cookies she was offering.

"Yes please, thanks Professor Stewart," cookies had just automatically made her best professor... or perhaps tied with Professor Myers, considering his head of house had made them waffles.... pushing the thought aside he'd pushed himself out of the bean bag and grabbed one of the cookies. He nibbled at it, mainly as a tactic of making it last longer.

'Social conventions,' a thought rang through his mind, undoubtedly belonging to his twin sister. "How are you today, Professor?" There. Social conventions fulfilled. Now he could move on to what had actually brought him to this office in the first place.

"I... well I just had a few questions about muggle studies actually," the young muggleborn admitted, as he'd glanced at the professor in question.
