Chris looked at Nat smiled, "I know you'll be fine. You're resilient." But no matter what she said he wasn't going to leave her side. He knew her well enough to know that she would get her healing last if she could. He looked up as he was handed a vial and some antibiotics and nodded at Elle. "Thank you." Super Chris to the rescue. He was going to heal his friend up but maybe not here...it was starting to get a little loud and he realized he was starting to get a headache.
He looked up and watched the ghosts when he heard Nat and his eyes quickly went toward the portal. What? He clutched at his wand but before he could even think of what spell he would use the portal was gone along with the two ghosts. Huh. "Is... is over...?" Merlin he hoped it was. He couldn't take any more. Then there was confetti.
He handled the stuff Elle had given him to Nat and went to sit down as his adrenaline seemed to be disappearing. How had he managed to do all that and keep it together pretty well? Hmmm. Maybe he could be an Auror that wasn't something he'd thought of doing before. He watched everyone and rubbed his head. Could he go now because really he needed someplace quiet. |
