See…there it was. Adi’s assurances on how wonderful and successful he was. Benny offered him a small smile, accepting the words as always. Was it any wonder neither of them tended to have too much doubt in themselves? The duo believed in each other and sought, almost unintentionally, to make the other very much aware of how well they thought of them. It was a long-standing effect of their close friendship as best friends and status as a loving couple.
Benny playfully squirmed at the poke, echoing Adi’s laughter at the thought that he had, albeit momentarily, pulled one over on the hippogriff. “I thought so…” he mused. “Good,” he added, before moving along with him closer to the house. It revealed itself as a two story house, not too contemporary but not really traditional. Big enough however for the family of kids they had talked about which was one of the selling points. That and a decent plot of land surrounding it.
Had to have some room for animals in there too.
