Wowza!

Daisy and Olivia plainly had different ideas on what Levi ought to do with his time just then. Which was just fine because he was actually very busy with STORM pulling his hair AGAIN. Levi, in frustration, whispered a series of words that would have made his mum scourgify his mouth at least twice.

"Daisy..." Not that the idea of heading to the hospital wing and ride the whole thing out in there safely was unappealing (the opposite, really) but Levi WOULD feel actually quite bad about leaving the group behind. But how to say that without being forcibly removed by her, regardless?

He hooked his free arm with Daisy's and moved close enough to Olivia so that his arm was touching hers. "Not to go all stereotypical Gryffindor on you, D, but I can't just leave now." If he was going to die at least he'd do it next to people he knew. And then there was Miffy, doing her usual thing, and suddenly Levi had to actually raise his voice to be heard above the noise the poltergeists were causing. "Olivia? I wasn't actually at the portal." However, he had an idea. And at this point he leaned in close to whisper because Professor Newton's idea was as shocking as it was baffling but he did not want her to think he was contradicting her. Yet. "Remember the spell we learned in Transfiguration...?"

....No? Yes? And there were other people arriving--or rather, there was one kid who arrived that somehow reminded Levi of Brent--but he was still too baffled that Newton was trying to reason with POLTERGEISTS to care. Hadn't she just agreed before with him that poltergeists were chaos? Why would they even agree to help them, then? Miffy and Storm plainly did not have the same relationship Hogwarts had with Peeves. They had not been there that long.

Adults and their terrible, no good, horrifying ideas. "Professor Newton," He whispered with the corner of his mouth, "Maybe you should tell them that if the monster eats everyone here they'd also be affected." Considering the main reason why poltergeists even existed was...because of teenagers. "To the point of maybe ceasing to be part of this plane of existence."
