Grateful that Noelle didn't press the subject any further, Althea flashed her a smile before eating some candy. The topic switched quickly, and she was momentarily stunned by what she'd said. She blinked a few times, trying to sort out her thoughts and come to a decision on whether or not she should lie or actually name people. "Hmmm, I guess I can do that," the truth was a good choice whether she liked it or not "from my house, besides me, of course, there's Henry--I mean he's sort of boring sometimes, but he has a very lovely face." It wasn't meant to be rude, but a simple statement of fact. The boy was so uninteresting that his good looks was his only saving grace. Unfortunate, really.
"And then, I'd have to say...Daisy, Slytherin Daisy," it was as descriptive as she was going to get. "Oh, and, obviously Bentl--I mean," she felt her cheeks burn, and she corrected herself quickly, "Professor Hirsch. Y'know, I didn't see it before, but lately I can see why he has so many admirers." Coughing into her hand--to mask the shame on her face, and distract Noelle--she took a moment to process her choices before glancing back at Noelle. "See? Not including you or me, or my brothers for that matter, that's three. The rest of them, I just don't keep track of names. Too much work." And it was. It was taxing and Althea grew exhausted just thinking about how many students there were at school, let alone to have to remember them? Impossible.
"It is a perk, one of the many perks, actually." Not that she'd wanted to inflate her ego any larger than it already was, but she really believed that to be fact. Besides her brothers, there weren't that many other interesting people at Hogwarts. Noelle had managed to convince Althea that maybe she wasn't looking hard enough--she doubted it--and if leaving herself vulnerable was the way to do it...then it was something to consider. Her sandwich and candy completely eaten, Althea cleaned her hands and the surrounding mess near her.
Curiosity grew within her. Noelle was moving things around and wasn't saying much. "Blame which one? Declan? Levi? What did they do."
