She was getting to the point of exhaustion and it was showing by the way she squirmed a bit. Mentally and emotionally she was struggling, she had been struggling. She was doing everything possible to not show it in here. To be the strong one and just show she didn't care. It was easier that way, it had been something she had gotten good at with her old school, but since being here she had lost it. She had gained friends, professors that actually cared, things were different here. So this was hard to deal with right now.
Her full name did get her attention. She kept her eyes on the headmistress now. Her shoulders slumped a bit when those weren't the right words. Of course they weren't, her mother was a monster. Maybe worse than the one in that portal. She was going to have to just get through this so she could leave. She was going to have to just lie and pretend she was sorry. She knew that was going to have to happen. She hated to lie but thanks to mommy dearest she had been trained to be good at it.

Letting her take the book from my hands and leaving the restricted area when she kicked us out." For no good reason. They hadn't hurt any books or did anything wrong. She actually hoped the woman would be pushed into the portal, but that was just her own opinion and she wouldn't say it aloud.
