 Wowza!
Levi was, quite frankly, baffled at the boy's COMPLETE lack of survival instincts. So baffled he blinked, several times, and then laughed, heartily.
Next time someone decided to tell him that Gryffindors were reckless he was just going to hunt down this guy, point at him and then say, 'have you MET him?'
He shook his head. Laughing was good. It made him forget, just for a moment, that he could get eaten any moment now. Which was maybe not such a good idea on second thought because obviously. Levi cleared his throat and chanced more looks around, looking out for a monster ready to pounce. Not that he'd be able to do much to stop it, should it decide to come around, but he'd rather preferred to die completely aware of what was happening than being eaten mid-thought.
Anyway.
"No offense," He said, "But you are pretty ridiculous, mate." Levi shrugged, already getting ready to walk away and back to his common room because he'd tried and surely that was enough, but then the boy decided to ask a question. "It's useless, but it makes me feel better, I guess. Empowered." He rolled his eyes at himself. "Probably some mental nonsense."
Then one of his classmates showed up and Levi said, "Severin!" James? Yes. "James. Please. Take him. He's one of yours and he's being difficult."
