The headmistress, to be quite honest, was surprised that the Head Girl had nothing to say. Her initial shock was expected, but Regina noticed that the girl didn't seemed to be very amused by her double. Was that because she didn't like hearing her own words being thrown back at her face -- the very same words she said to an adult because she refused to follow his orders? Or was she simply mulling through her mind that she was in detention because she wanted to help? The woman wouldn't know until some sort of verbal reaction or expressional cue was given.
The headmistress gave the real Natalia a look before returning her eyes to the double. It looked like it had more to say...
The faux Natalia rapidly snapped her fingers to get the girl's attention again. Then she acted as if she had just been told that she needed to leave the area. "I as well as the other prefects were told to guard this, to not let anyone near it especially alone," she spat back, hopefully reminding the real Natalia of that moment with the former Astronomy professor. But that was not all she had to say. She then added in a smart aleck tone, "Plus I'M eighteen now, so I think I can decide if I stay in the corridor or not." And with that said, the double crossed her arms. She wasn't going to move anywhere she didn't want to go.
The latest statements the double had to say made one of Regina's eyes twitch a little. She remembered being informed that the girl refused to leave the scene after Flamsteed, an adult and Mysteries employee who was summoned to help with the situation, asked her to leave and let him do his job. Of age or not, the girl was very much a student and students were expected to treat adults with respect no matter what. As long as they were within castle grounds, they had school rules to follow.
The woman then glanced from the double to the actual Natalia. Was she seeing where this was going? If not, the double certainly had more to say.
