Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Regina gave Gaston a curt nod of her head. There really wasn't much time for formalities. They had a school to keep under control and make sure no one got eaten like their former caretaker. Her eyes did widen a bit when he mentioned that he thought he just saw the beast. He THOUGHT he just saw it? Then why on earth was he --
The headmistress was about to open her mouth to tell him to run after it while she ran up to the sixth floor for she knew that the beast would, eventually, be returning to where it had come from if no one caught it beforehand. However, a voice made her stop from saying something. It was a voice that made her head turn.
"What are you doing wandering about the corridors, Miss Delgado?" she asked, her tone a bit firmer than her colleagues. Did the girl not hear her announcement from before? This was not the Hufflepuff common room.
But before she could say any more, the Charms professor offered to escort the girl to her common room where it wouldn't be easy for the monster to get into. Like that thing would be able to figure out the barrel pattern or, for the other houses, utter the correct password. The common rooms were honestly one of the safest places for them to be right now. "Thank you, Gaston. Please make sure you escort any other students you see along the way. I'll go looking for the monster."
Without another word, the woman hurriedly ran off in the direction the man had jerked his head toward just moments ago.
