Before the Erkling!Dummy could get very far, the Grryffindor's (Matt) spell hit its shoulder. It paused, its shoulder moving backwards from the impact of the hit before moving forwards again. The Reductor Curse hit the approaching dummy's arm and started singeing. It stopped to look at the arm that slowly, but surely, started to break away from its body.
The dummy managed to get its hand on the young Hufflepuff's (Derf) arm when the Shield Charm was struck up. The rest of its body couldn't go through but the arm was still stuck, grasping at the Hufflepuff's arm. With all this movement, the Stunning Charm seemed to miss it by mere inches...
The Slug-vomiting Charm did nothing. Tough luck.
______________
The second team (Team BEN) were getting better. The Slytherin boy (Brent) it was going for managed to stop it enough for the Gryffindor's (Noelle) Fire Spell to hit its chest. A small hole started to burn very slowly in the dummy's chest but it wasn't until the Slytherin girl's Incendio Tria hit it that the burnt grew significantly larger and larger.
And still, the dummy tried to move forwards, this time much slower and its movements more mechanical than before...
______________
The third team (Team Defenders) needed help. The Hufflepuff's (Juno) Silencing Charm, while hitting the dummy, still wasn't as strong as it could be. The cackle was almost silent and probably only heard if the students listened closely enough.
Having had enough, the dummy continued moving forwards and towards the Gryffindor (Tenacius). Come on, kid.
______________
The Slytherin's (Junia) attempts were unsuccessful. The Knockback Jinx wasn't strong enough to knock the dummy backwards but it did pause momentarily when the spell hit its shoulder. But it continued forwards for the Slytherin, a small cackle under its breath.
The Shield Spell from the Gryffindor (Char) was successful and so abrupt, that the dummy didn't know it had happened. It tried to reach for the Slytherin but its movements were stopped by the shield. But it could still cack-
No it can't.
The Langlock spell was enough to get it to stop cackling but the dummy moved before the Stunning Spell could hit it. Tough luck, Gryffindor.
