The first team of students (Team Destruction) seemed to have the right idea. The dummy had hardly moved a few steps when, all of a sudden, ropes flew out and bound it in place. The first Stupefy cast by the young Gryffindor (Matt) missed the bound Erkling!Dummy by mere inches but it was only when the second Stunning Spell combined with the Body Bind Curse hit it that it stopped altogether. Bound, petrified and with no means of escape, the dummy slowly started sinking downwards... very slowly...

Fire was the best spell here. The first fire spell caused the dummy to singe and darken at the spot where it had been hit but it wasn't until the stronger Incendio Tria hit it that the dummy burst into large flames. Ashes scattered around and rained down on them as a way of celebrating their victory.

Safe? They weren't. Another dummy stepped over the ashes of the previous one and headed straight towards the youngest (Derf). Come on, kid, off to the wall with you.

The second team (Noelle, Brent, Elle) was almost there. Not quite but almost. Two Silencing Spells had got it to stop cackling but the Stupefy alone wasn't doing the trick. When the Stunning Spell hit it, the dummy paused in its steps before continuing its movements forwards.

None of them were young but the boy (Brent) would do.

The third team (Tenacius, Juno, Leon) needed help.

Was the young boy (Tenacius) distracted? Because the Silencing Charm didn't work as well as it should. The spell hit the dummy but it wasn't going to be enough. The cackling still continued, this time a few decibels lower than usual.

Come on...

The fourth team (Etta, Junia) was on the same path as the third team. The Silencing Spell had worked but the cackling was now softer, quieter, and only heard if you listened closely enough. But that didn't stop the dummy from moving forwards and towards the Slytherin (Junia) herself.

Maybe it would be better if they cast spells at the same time...
