Entering the classroom with his textbook balanced on his head, Derf stopped and slooooooowly waved to the professor with a bit of a cheeky grin. There really was no purpose for him walking with his book like this, he had no intention of correcting his posture, other than he was simply curious if he could make it all the way from his common room to the classroom without dropping it.

Spoiler alert, he could not.

Book sliding off his head and into his arms as he turned his attention towards the board, the Hufflepuff was struck with a bit of déjà vu with Professor Newton's lesson.

Selecting a seat, Derf got his things out and prepped a fresh piece of parchment. Risk...dad quite fancied that game. It required far too much attention to detail and thinking 10 steps ahead of your opponents for the first year to be able to manage. Snakes and Ladders though...THAT one he could manage!
