He was used to not sleeping much, and he really wanted to check something out about Jupiter before he could sleep at ease.
He thought he would be by himself but he was caught by surprise. Declan froze and he held his breath wondering if he should just stupefy the person or turn around. After two seconds of holding his wand tightly he realized both options were extreme and maybe he should try some diplomacy.
"So that makes two rule breakers in this room," he said quietly. "You and I. Birds of a feather, huh?"
Noelle really needed to pay attention in Astronomy class. She was trying to pick out which of the stars were actually planets when she heard a voice. .... And she nearly jumped out of her skin.
She hadn't been expecting another voice. Especially since it was curfew time. Noelle pulled her wand out and stood straight from the telescope, her wand pointing at the intruder.
Who was Declan.
She let out an exasperated sigh. "
Merlins beard it's just you"She hadn't meant to say you like that but... it was the nerves. He wasn't some monster person. Though... to be honest, monsters probably didn't sound or say what he said. But that was beside the fact. You didn't just sneak up on a person like that. Now could her heart please go back into her chest and out of her throat?? She lowered her wand considerably. It was still out though. Just in case. "
What are you doing out here??" Because again curfew. She took a step back from the telescope and faced him a bit more.
