Declan looked down at her with a perplexed expression, arms full of books, and rolled up charts. What was he supposed to do? Did he let her sleep or wake her up? Was she really needing the nap or was she avoiding responsibility? Levi did that sometimes but only rarely and after all everyone was wigging out over the OWLS and NEWTS. Stress really made people do strange things.

He stepped forward and very gently lowered the books on top of the table, along with the rolls of parchments. He sat on the chair next to Daisy, just as carefully, and folded his arms on the table only to rest his cheek on it. His eyes observed her sleeping face.

She looked like his neighbors pug when she slept, mouth crooked and everything. He chuckled.

"Daisy, wake up," he said from where he was still watching her, his cheek on his folded arms. "Wake up, Daisy. Wake UP."
