Had she missed his question entirely. Declan watched her, thinking maybe she was just trying to think of a way to reply. The reply never came but she asked a question instead. "Her name is Charlotte." Declan paused to watch her get comfortable, and saw her eyes land on his charts. Declan's hands twitched feeling a protective need to cover them with his hands.

"Declan," he introduced himself simply and nodded. "Well, I think mostly, it's just the one that holds my interest the most? I don't know about favorite." He allowed a moment of silence before daring to ask again. "I'm sorry, what hair color is that?" he asked pointing at her head with a nod of his chin.
