Mrs. Alex Turner *asterisks user* Secret Door Dukes. Diana. These three were all insane. Levi seemed slightly less insane but Daisy was beginning to think his madness just hadn't manifested itself. Still, now that they were all alive, she couldn't deny that it had been a pretty fun night. No consensual binding spell excluded, of course. Althea's words didn't really faze her and she simply shrugged at the girl once she and Levi approached. "Of course you don't. They are your brothers. That's how it works." She had four of those, she knew how it worked. Well, three of those. Evangeline was very much a sister, not a brother. But she wasn't just going to nod her head and go along with everything these three said. "Just ... give me a warning next time." She told Declan when he explained what the spell did. Brilliant, so they were all insane, Althea would probably kill her one day and yet she was now bound to them. "You shouldn't take anyone's word on that." That would be a stupid risk and it made complete sense that he wouldn't take it. Slytherin mistrust and all that. She grimaced and tilted her head, looking at him. "You could've taken my word that I would let you do the spell, though." YEAH, MAN. That hurt.
Still, she would live.
Poor Levi, though. Things hadn't really gone to plan for him and she sent him a soft smile as he tried to calm things down. All cool here. Yup. She was going to tell him that but then he went on about the chicken and food poisoning. Daisy stopped moving and stared at him, pretty sure that she felt her cheeks getting warmer despite the cold air. Here's the thing: she had thought about taking that chicken back to eat it. Once she had realised how dirty it was, she had -- sadly, mournfully -- given up on the poor chicken. She wasn't about to admit to that, though. "I mean--" She cleared her throat. "Are we really leaving this here?" She pointed once more to the poor, dirty chicken, laying in the middle of a chalk circle. "Won't people be suspicious tomorrow when they find it?"
See? She just wanted to clear their tracks. "Anyway, I should get going." She looked at the three of them, all hugged up and smiled. Yeah, they were insane but they were alright. "Leave the three of you to your secrets." Clearly there was something going on here that she wasn't supposed to be privy too. They seemed far too comfortable with that scarab as a pet now for it to not have happened before. |
