He was tired, stressed out, and his patience was almost non-existent considering that he too had to deal with the unknown. The man was presented with a case, of which the source was not entirely clear to him, and yet there he was working day and night to bring the boys back to their old form. For obvious reasons, they have turned down the suggestion, however, River believed that he did not have to feel attacked with the dramatics, and wand snapping. The Healer man simply stood there, with his hands tucked behind him and watched Rooney excuse himself to go to the bathroom. As soon as he walked out on him, the man took the phials back and placed it in his pocket. Two older boys already said no, and he did not expect Carlton to be positive about it. Again, he wasn't going to take it against the boys. It was a suggestion, and nothing more.

River kept a placid look on his face as he faced Henry to answer his question. "Charlotte. She's been looking for the three of you." the man turned his back to collect their robes, and quietly placed it on their beds. "She's outside as we speak. Would you like to see her, Henry?" the flinching from a while back was noticed, and it was his cue to take another step back from allowing visitors to see them. But then again, he wasn't Charlotte. These kids hated adults, so maybe it'd be a different story.

River eyed the broken wand in Henry's hand and decided right then and there to let Roderick know what happened. The man ought to check on his eagles because frankly, he wasn't in the position to pry on any student's life unless they come to him first with their concerns.

Quietly, the man busied himself by cleaning up the room and retired to the other corner of the room where he set up his office to work on some reports while looking out for the boys. He wouldn't force them to go, instead, he will let them walk out of his watch on their own accord.

Now...to face these Ministry monsters.
