He had been released from the hospital wing a few hours ago and had coerced his sister into keeping him company in the library until it was necessary that they both were in their common rooms. Rooney did not feel safe here, no matter how much he would pretend he did to benefit others.
Chris walked in carrying a stack of books and spotting Rooney dropped them on the floor. "HEY! YOU'RE BACK?!" Admittedly he'd been a bit worried about him even though they didn't talk too much. You do get attached to people you end up living with for so long. Stepping over the books he walked over to him and gave him a hug. Something he had never done before. He knew it hadn't been that long but it felt like half the term since he'd seen him last and he wanted to make sure he was okay. He was only a little worried that he had gone and done something stupid after their last talk.
