Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War | Eureka had stolen some food from what Hassan was cooking and perched up on one of the counters just in time to laugh at her uncle's bunny ears. Lilian's question was serious? Was she trying to know if Eureka had heard her parents' fighting? "Not rea--" she wanted to answer and just be honest but not another minute passed before the Hogwartians arrived not-so-subtly to the living room. She laughed again when Abey shot through from the living room to the kitchen, "Whoa, nice entrance everyone." She called out, not finding it in her to join the family at the living room yet.
Eureka's character changed over the past year more than it had all five years at Hogwarts. She grew a bitter side with a hint of darkness, now she was not that comfortable sharing her feelings with anyone--her family being the exception where she'd laugh and genuinely have a good time before going back to Naser's place. Patricia did not have a chance to sit down and see if the twins needed to have a snack while Hassan finished with their breakfast, Junia was the first to show up followed by Abey and Rula. Pattie did a little courtesy for her princess daughter before going in for a hug, "Welcome home, beautiful," she said in her ear. She gave hyper Abey (who seemed on the rush to hug his sister) a quick hug, too, "We missed you!" She told him then moved to give her grownup daughter another one, "Oh my, look at you. You're all tall and gorgeous, ugh," she sniffed into Rula's head a little. Rula who was now of age. Ugh.
Julianne was standing with a huge grin on his face nearby waiting for his turn to hug the kids but his wife was hogging them! "Not 'trying to be', I am the Easter bunny!" He defended quickly with a grin and went on to give each one of his daughters a kiss, before he moved to hold Alanna's little hand because they must be moving to the kitchen now for food, right? RIGHT? His eyes darted towards his nephew across the hall where the kitchen was. "Speaking of, the bunny's really hungry this morning." Hassan must hear that.
"Come, tell us about your year." Patricia put a hand on each of her daughters' back and led them to the kitchen. Nora heard the noises downstairs. Actually, she didn't hear them, no, she was wrapping the last present for Abey but the help came and informed her of the kids' arrival. She dashed through the corridor tying her hair into a ponytail and ran down the stairs. Their happy voices came from the hall where the living room and the kitchen joined so she headed there just in time to see her little boy run for his siblings.
"Good morning everyone," she smiled widely, eyes sparkling because so tired. Automatically, she moved to embrace Abraham, "Hey honey, we missed you," shouldn't have used the 'we' because now she was going to have to explain why Owen couldn't make it. |
