This was it!

This was the day! The day the Easter holidays began, which meant the day she got to visit her family again for a little while, which also meant...the day she finally got to tell the rest of them something really big and amazing and important and wonderful!

Max would be showing up sometime soon too! Because of course he needed to be a part of sharing the good news. Hopefully they remembered he'd be visiting, since she had mentioned it in her letters - and hopefully they didn't suspect anything either. It was perfectly normal for her to want him to visit, after all, since he wasn't at Hogwarts this year, just like the rest of them weren't. She missed them all, so of course she'd want to see him again as soon as possible too.

So, in order to keep the surprise an actual surprise for just a bit longer, she'd disillusioned the ring on her left hand long before she arrived. It kind of pained her a little to see it "disappear" from her finger, but at least it wouldn't be for long.

She laughed as Junia and Abey ran on in ahead of her. Rula hurried on after them, walking in just as Alanna mentioned their dad wearing bunny ears.

"Dad's trying to be the Easter bunny this year?" she said, grinning.
