OKAY...but like...like....NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

WHY was his bread and peanut butter spell for dueling NEVER hitting?! Did he need NOT to start off with it? Throw it into the mix later? He just really wanted to see some one throw up slugs and who better to be his first than Abey?!

The Hufflepuff's disappointment did not last TOO long as the Gryffindor soon lost control of his legs - and was surprisingly limber! He was pretty focused on Abey's legs - they were just moving SO much, you know? - and a thought crossed his young eager mind. WHAT would it look like if Tarantallegra got crossed with a Jelly-Legs Curse? He was just going to HAVE to find out!

Which meant that he was skipping an all important step in this duel. You know, the part where he was meant to defend himself against any incoming spells cast by his opponent.

Oops.

First to strike was Trip Jinx, causing Derf a whole lot more than a stutter step. Cross eyed and disoriented, the Hufflepuff walked right into Abey's follow up spell. Red sparks licked at his robes, singeing them causing bits of fabric here and there to smoke. "Sorry my right foot!" he laughed. It was silly to apologize for something you were doing on purpose, yeah?

But hold on here. First his trousers and then his robes! If Derf were not so keen on turning the Gryffindor's legs to jelly...he would think that Abey was opposed to clothes.

"Locomotor Wibbly!" he shouted, flourishing his wand a little TOO eagerly at Abey's dancing legs while quickly followed this up with Purple Firecrackers. Two could play the sparkly game!
