Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Henry had never been inside the hospital wing today, so he blindly followed the healer and Rooney into another area, still feeling a little fuzzy. He glanced behind him as they walked at the mention of Carlton's name, concerned for his well-being too. Just out of reach past the fuzziness was a nagging feeling of being bothered by the presence of the Ministry people. But he couldn't quite remember why now.
He paused just inside of their new temporary quarters, taking a moment to look around before choosing the pajamas and bad that Rooney hadn't. He took a seat atop the bed with the pajamas in his lap as he waited for the other boy to finish washing up and changing.
The Hufflepuff tried not to let his mind wander too much because even though he was still feeling the effects of the calming draught, he knew what images lay just at the edge. And he didn't want them coming into clearer view. "All done?" He looked up at Rooney as he returned in changed clothes and he slowly slid off the bed. He was still a little lightheaded, but he made his way over to the cubicle next to wash up.
He took his time cleaning up, feeling as if he needed to wash away the events of the day and they just weren't completely going away. Finally changing his clothes as well, he dropped his uniform into the basket and headed back into the room. "I'm starving," he said quietly to himself, resting his hand on his turbulent stomach, vaguely realizing how long it had been since he had last eaten. But he wasn't so sure he could eat now. He climbed back up on his bed and looked over at the healer, somewhat questioningly. Now what? He didn't particularly want any sort of intrusive examination, but what did they do now?
