Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Henry fell through the portal and back into the real world about as gracefully as he had been thrown into the alternate universe. And as he lay on the floor of the sixth floor corridor, the sensory overload of intensely bright lights - as compared to the darkness he had grown accustomed - and noises became harshly apparent. Noises. People. He had instinctively thrown an arm over his eyes to shield them from the light and also because he wasn't completely sure where he was. It was nearly a defense mechanism.
But he could hear voices and he scrambled up enough to moved back against the wall, huddling there, his breathing labored as he squinted out the bright light to try to make sense of who was there. Carlton... Rooney.. ? Yes. They were here and they.. they were safe, right? They were all safe now? His eyes tried to focus on who he thought was his head of house before Henry, mentally and physically exhausted, collapsed back against the wall.
