Grabbing a plate the blond soon found herself right next to her boss Erec that was filling his plate with everything in sight. Beaming broadly at him Claudette almost even hugged him as she greeted giddy with happiness. "Happy new year boss! Did you have a nice Christmas vacation?"

Erec had just gotten all the food he wanted and was about to go find a seat when he saw one of his employees. He gave her a broad smile as she came over closer to him. "Happy New Year to you as well Claudette." It was the new year now wasn't it. He wasn't much for celebrating things, but new year always meant a new start which was a nice thing to think about.

When she asked about his holiday he couldn't fully tell the truth, what a lame boss he would be if he admitted to being alone most of it. "Oh it was wonderful, visiting with family and spending time with my daughter." The one that pretty much hated his guts at this point. "How was your break? I'm going to assume you had a great time seeing as you seem to be smiling from ear to ear."
