Brinlee had one, but that was because she had wanted one. Rooney, on the other hand, had requested a new cauldron obviously. So, he hadn't 'neglected' to bring his broom as was suggested by their teacher. He didn't have that much of a love for flying. In fact, he didn't enjoy it all too much. He liked the thought of it, but it was lot of unnecessary effort to stay concentrated in the air when all he was thinking about was decorating said broom and being in full costume when taking to the skies.
He DID have his own gloves and goggles though, and put them on immediately so that he was set to go and could ensure he forgot NOTHING at all. He was not a fan of being sky high and realising that he had forgotten his goggles when a stray leaf stabbed him straight in the eye. Baaaaaaaaahd memories, really. But aNYWAY. Warming up and stretches were his comPLETE talent and so he was able to JUMP to action, wiggling and waving and waggling and all sorts of movements. He actually threw in a few vocal warm ups too, in case he needed to shout for help at any point in this lesson.
Prepared for all situations, was Rooney Bronwyn.
