Despite who he had gotten his genes from, flying was not Declan's best skill. It wasn't even his most favorite skill. As a rule, he stayed away from flying brooms as much as possible despite having to endure his mother's disapproving gaze during the summers spent at home. Quidditch and flying just were not for him.
He had enough on his plate with bones that begged to be read, voices that disrupted his meals, and dreams that he couldn't tell if they were premonitions or the result of an ill advised late night snack.
It was because of one those--maybe a crazy nightmare maybe something like a premonition, he had those sometimes--that he was even there, lurking with a frown behind his brother Levi.
