Kitty listened as Rosalyn answered her questions. It was a good thing to know that accidentally upsetting Carlton was not one of the reasons why she was in detention. Of course that didn't change the fact that she felt terrible that he thought she was attacking him personally. For the rest of the year she would make a special effort to be extra nice to him whenever they met.

Rosalyn's suggestions were good ones, she had to admit. "So next time you think it would be better to just criticize his positions on certain things without going after him entirely? That kind of makes sense...I don't think anyone would get offended if I just went after his views on Muggleborns." Not even Natalia, right? "I don't plan on talking about Salathar for some time though," she admitted. "My opinions will never change, but I think right now a lot of people are still upset over it, and you're right, I am a student leader and it's probably best to not bring it up for awhile." Aside from an apology to Katy, and an explanation to Mason. She really hoped Mason wasn't mad at her, she hadn't had an opportunity to talk with her after the fight.
