He straightened his name tag a bit, so it was easily visible when he started to socialize. He'd already changed the name on it so it read "Javi" instead of Javier, his preferred nickname, and eyed the crowd. Where on EARTH should he start? Maybe he should just leave.

How was it that Victoria has just gotten to the ministry event and already had lost her husband? She knew she stopped and talked a lot so maybe he got tired of waiting and already headed inside. Not that she blamed him. Her job made her social and made her get to know many ministry workers. Plus her personality was just that, she loved to get to know people and she loved outings that meant she could be an adult.

With the kids at Bart and Cinna's she knew they had all night and could enjoy the evening. Her first stop was the goody bags. She couldn't wait to see what they had this year. Usually there were a few corney things, but at least one or two good things. So this year she was ready to see what they were. Picking up a bag she opened it and peaked inside. "It's always sweet of the department heads and minister to put this together." She wasn't really talking to anyone, but yet there was a man close to her so she glanced at him. "Do you like what they have in there?" She was curious of course to see what other's thought.
