"Ah," she said in response to the burnt water comment. "I suppose the leftovers save on time, too," she mused, assuming the job was time-consuming. Plus, she got the distinct feeling that Alexa Cambridge did more than just punch the clock.
"You got a name, security man?" she said, taking an eggroll herself and popping it in her mouth. She watched the banter between the two of them and wondered things, her amusement quite evident on her face. She looked him over, relatively impressed, but not so much so. She knew she'd need to be on... better behavior here. Otherwise, this whole thing would be over before it started.
"I know Legend," she said casually, taking a sip of her drink. And she could see how avoidance or supreme over-achieving were the two options. "Are suspensions common?" This was important to know, for sure. She was usually quite good at walking riiiiiiiiiight up to the line but not crossing it in a way that would bite her, but this was new terrain.
