Etta's very first duel. She could feel the anxiety slowly creep it even if she didn't show it. She mentally pushed away the nervousness as she stepped into the dueling arena, gripping her wand tightly. Yeah, she could do this. What was the worst that could happen? Even if she lost, the girl was simply going to learn from her mistakes and do better the next time.
The Hufflepuff smiled at her mate and opponent, kind of glad that she got to duel with Olivia. She took a few deep breaths, mentally going through the spells that she wanted to use. Maybe start off with something simple but effective, yes?
Etta stood in a ready position and flourishing her wand, she cast the babbling curse first. That would be an interesting way to begin. Thinking fast, Etta quickly cast a protego on herself. Her shield in place, she watched Olivia carefully, mentally AND physically alert.
