This was SO EXCITING! His first duel!! Kane couldn't WAIT to try out all the spells he had been learning throughout the past two years in an actual fighting scenario. He smiled at Hirsch as he took his place on the dueling floor and then turned to see his opponent. It was another Hufflepuff, in his year, he was pretty sure...but he didn't know her name and had never talked to her. He'd seen her around, though!
Although he wasn't sure why the whole etiquette thing was necessary, Kane still smiled at the girl and then bowed low at her. EEP it was STARTING! AHHHH! INTERNAL SCREAMING! Once he stood up, he turned on his heel and began to walk to the edge of the platform, heart RACING. Ok, what did he start with? WHAT DID HE START WITH?! HE HADN'T THOUGHT THIS FAR!

He COULD be a total jerk and start off real crazy, bombarding the poor girl with spells, but he decided to be nice and go easy on her for now #hufflepuff. He turned and faced the Hufflepuff girl again before making his first move.
"Rictusempra!" he exclaimed, hoping he'd be able to catch her off guard and cause the girl to go into a giggling fit, and then he could just end this duel before it even really start! Hehe.
