Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Henry was a little bit at a loss for this activity. He had been rather stunned by the earlier argument regarding archaic and stereotypical ideas. He really disliked stereotypes that often surrounded the houses, including his own, and he especially disliked them when they made people feel bad about themselves or were used as insults. And that's exactly what seemed to have happened. But even if he thought that the Ravenclaw prefect had been wrong, Henry couldn't help but feel a little bad for her too. It'd probably be awful for an entire class to turn on you and make you run out of the room.
Maybe he really was the Puffiest Puff.
But all of it had been rather off-putting and it made him think a little different about creating a fifth house. Sure, he had a lot of house pride and loved being a Hufflepuff, but he wondered, even if it was just for this activity that he didn't really feel like doing, what Hogwarts would be like without a house system at all. Would there be fewer stereotypes and less of people being accused of being evil or too nice or reckless or nerds?
Maybe he would fail this assignment, but given that he had spent the majority of the class daydreaming and staring out the window, he might as well start writing something rather than turn nothing in at all. And considering that was where his mind was going, the likelihood of him thinking up something better at this point was fairly slim. So he began writing his thoughts before class came to a close.
