Rooney had very little time for people who smiled at him when in essence, they were being condescending. "Out without your devil horns, Natalia?" He was so over people having opinions about the way he was with his relationship. He loved his girlfriend both as his girlfriend and as his best friend and whatever Miss Natalia said wouldn't change how he announced it to the world. But he straightened intentionally to his full height as she finally walked away. He had every mean thought that he possibly could have swimming around his head, including that she had in no way shown any sort of leadership skills and that her getting all up in Kitty's grill in the corridor was no better than Kitty shouting at Katy in class.
None of the three of them could say anything about being an example. One of them berated their peers in the corridor, another was an absolute idiot and didn't think before she talked and then he just yelled at Professors in their own classrooms.
But he was glad that the Head Girl had gone, so that he could whip around and frown at his co-prefect. "Get rid of the hair and the glasses, you look like an absolute idiot."
