Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent
Keely finished off her sandwich as she listened to Jamie talk about his photography, and she hoped that the enthusiasm he had for his work was reflective of how he would be with this challenge. Hard work and passion could translate into a win and she needed that from a partner. "Have you ever done fashion photography? We always need someone who can bring out unique personalities." It was part of what helped them keep an edge. And to bring out her designs in a creative way. Perhaps she could take a look at his portfolio sometime.
But it seemed as if their conversation would be coming to an end now as the food table was gone... as well as the last bite of brownie that was in her hand. Keely turned her attention on the woman in charge again, along with the very large wall in the middle of the room. So they had to get over the wall. Keely half listened to what Jamie was saying, though she couldn't help but be very interested in what Khara and her partner were going to do. "Levitate, right," she whispered with a nod. That sounded like a decent enough idea, but she kept her eyes on Khara as she felt Jamie grab her hand. Wait... would Khara get jealous if she saw Jamie holding her hand? Maybe that would be a good way to get her attention though.
She was about to turn to Jamie to let him levitate her up the wall when she saw that other guy's wand pointed at her and her sudden stuckness to the floor. Grr. Her first instinct was to retaliate, but she caught Khara out of the corner of her eye standing next to that guy and she was worried that any retaliatory spell might hit her instead. Fine. "Okay, fine, levitate me," she urgently whispered to Jamie as she slipped out of her shoes. She still needed to get over that wall, but she was keeping an eye on that Digby character. Poor Khara for being partnered up with him.
