The way James kept clinging to Keely’s hand had earned quite a few side-eye glares from a certain brunette in the room, even though for the most part Sabi was trying to keep her attention on her partner for this whole challenge. Attention that was proving to be infinitely easier given Ava’s apparent focus on James. She’d rolled her eyes only partially surreptitiously when the blonde had gone on about how she believed the man currently, hopefully, not damaging Keely’s hand one bit could manage to accomplish anything, but otherwise stayed quiet. For about two seconds. “Seems like he can get motivated fairly well enough,” she observed, although she was the slightest bit perturbed at how proud he’d seemed over coming up with a plan that she and her partner had basically come up with already. That was just rude. Claiming ideas that weren’t his. She just hoped his partner didn’t agree with him.

That and she’d silently vowed to tie Ava up before she threw herself bodily at the other pair. Until the vow seemed irrelevant given the sight of her partner pitching forward onto her knees, which made her give a half-narrowed, half-suspicious and half-reprimanding glance toward Digby. She’d heard that. She also knew a way around it. “Take your shoes off,” she whispered to Ava, slipping out of her own before helping her partner up. “Then I’ll send you up to the top of the wall” They didn’t need their shoes to get over the wall. They just needed to get each other over it.
