"Well, what's a pretty important trait that the other houses don't really capitalize on much?" he wondered aloud. "You've got Hufflepuffs who are loyal...Ravenclaws are smart and value intelligence...Slytherins are cunning and ambitious, and Gryffindors are brave and noble...any ideas of what they're missing?" he asked with a slight frown. He couldn't really think of something that couldn't be thrown into the other houses...

"I have an idea for colors! We should do purple and gray. Like a really light gray, not the silver-y color the Slytherins have. That would be a nice new addition to the house colors, I think," he told her with a grin. SOOOOO yes. He'd at least had SOMETHING to add to the group project!
She listened as he spoke. Yes, she knew those traits and how some people didn't seem to fit into them. Her thoughts went to a book series she had read once in the muggle library in Australia. Could it work here as well? She thought more as he kept talking about the traits. When he brought up colors she smiled, "I think an artistic house would be cool, but I bet others have already thought of it." With no real artistic classes she could see many of them wanting a house for this reason.

"How much knowledge do you have on muggle books?" Looking at him knowing it was a weird question. "I mean there was a book series that talked about having four factions and then there was a group that didn't fit in any of them or more that they fit in all of them. I feel like I've seen that here. There are just some people that you stop and go I think you would have been better in this house." Was he following her train of thought?

"What if the fifth house was like the house that was for people that fit into everyone house, so they weren't just right for one house." What could it's name be though?
