That perception changed when Natalia took a step towards her and threatened to hex her. Kitty's eyes widened in fear and shock (though the glasses concealed this) and she took another step back, bumping into the wall as she did so. Was the head girl bluffing? Kitty had never been in a real duel before, just practice ones, and it actually terrified her to imagine being cursed for real. "Calm down Nat," she said, trying her best to not show the fear she felt. "You're head girl, you can't just hex people you don't like. If you attack me just for looking cross-eyed at someone, then you can't accuse me of being rude in class, because that's much, MUCH worse." She gulped and held her hands up in front of her. "See, I'm not drawing my wand or anything. I'd never hurt anyone except in defense. I admit I should have yelled in class, that was going too far, but now you're the one going too far." And much as she'd like to apologize to Katy, she wouldn't do it unless Katy also apologized to her for saying she despised her. The way Kitty saw it, she was just returning the insult.

Why this amused her so much, Nat wouldn't know, but she could tell that angered the girl. Poor baby bird getting her feelings hurt. "Don't get your feathers in a bunch. I could care less what you wear, though I don't think you really represent a prefect this way, but your actions in class prove you shouldn't be."

Had she ever stopped and thought about that? No, probably not. She was probably someone who just read something and believed it to be true. The smirk couldn't be helped with her lame attempt to say nerd didn't bother her.

Watching the Ravenclaw step back Nat's eyes flashed with amused annoyance. "Oh, but if I have reason." She wasn't afraid to be put in detention, she had spent time in detention in the past. "You started the threat in class. So hexing you would be just protecting my own. You know those evil slytherins. To bad that chamber is empty, maybe we could have went to find out if all slytherins were like that or not. Would you trust us to go down there with you?" Really Nat hated that Kitty had a point about not hexing her becaue of being head girl, but would punching be alright? "Going to far? You were ridiculous in class and rude to Katy, a younger student. What examples are you setting?"She was a leader she should act like one. "Oh I'm not going to far... yet. Just don't tempt me. You better apologize if you know what's good for you."
